The Environment Agency (EA) has named the new line-up of firms for its flood and coastal risk management operational framework worth around £160m. The new hub arrangement will cover a wide range of services from small-scale civil engineering and maintenance projects to main river maintenance and pest control.
The works programme will split the country into four separate operational areas/hubs with the North Hub having the highest spend of more than £70m over the four year contract. We are delighted to have been named as the primary supplier to the EA within the North hub sub region (Cumbria and Lancashire) to carry out routine maintenance, vegetation management and pest control works which has an anticipated budget spend of £5.4m. We are proud to be associated with this contract and look forward to building upon our existing long standing relationship with the EA and nurturing this over the forthcoming months and years. Works on the new framework will commence in May 2018.
